Terms of Service
Last updated: April 10, 2026
Agreement
By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you think your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
Don't use Closing Day to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Store other people's data without their consent
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service
- Resell access to the service
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial months, but contact us if something went wrong and we'll make it right.
Payment information
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Closing Day does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers at any time. Stripe securely stores your payment method and processes all charges on our behalf.
Accountability Boost
Accountability Boost is a voluntary, opt-in feature. By opting in, you select an activity metric (e.g., conversations, dials, texts, door knocks, open houses, CMAs), a target number, and a frequency (per day, per week, or per month). You also select a charity from the available list. Closing Day saves your payment method via Stripe without an immediate charge.
Accountability Boost operates on an honor system. On your monthly billing date, your logged activity data is evaluated against the goal you set. Only activity that has been logged in Closing Day is considered. Unlogged activity, regardless of whether it was actually performed, does not count toward your goal. Closing Day does not independently verify that logged activity occurred. You are responsible for logging your activity honestly and accurately. If your logged numbers do not meet your goal, a $100 charge is automatically applied as a separate line item from your subscription. This evaluation and potential charge repeats each billing cycle for as long as Accountability Boost remains active on your account.
The $100 donation is not tax deductible and is not refundable once charged. The donation will be made directly to the charity you selected by Closing Day, less credit card processing fees. Proof of the donation will be sent to the email address on your account.
You may turn off Accountability Boost at any time from your account settings (Settings → Accountability Boost). Changes take effect before your next billing date evaluation. Once a charge has been initiated based on a confirmed missed goal, that specific charge cannot be reversed. Closing Day reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Accountability Boost feature at any time with 14 days notice.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but we don't guarantee 100% availability. Planned maintenance, third-party outages (Stripe, your CRM, hosting provider), and unforeseen issues may cause downtime.
Your data
You own your data. You can download a full CSV export of everything in your account at any time from Settings → Export your data. No ticket, no waiting period, no email required.
If you cancel, your account stays accessible for 90 days so you can log back in and export anything you need. After 90 days your data is permanently deleted from our systems.
Informational use only
Closing Day is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. It is a tool to help you track your own business activity, pipeline, and goals. Nothing in the service is legal, financial, tax, accounting, or real estate advice, and you should not rely on it as such. You are solely responsible for your business decisions, your transactions, your compliance with applicable laws, and the accuracy of any data you enter or sync into the service.
Limitation of liability
Closing Day is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Closing Day, its owners, operators, and contributors are not liable to you for any monetary damages whatsoever, including but not limited to lost profits, lost commissions, lost transactions, lost data, missed deadlines, business interruption, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. You agree that your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it and cancel your subscription.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
